When my kiddos were younger there were no "I's" - iPad, iPod, internet (that wasn't dial-up, iPhone. We didn't even have cable! Our mornings were full of distractions but not of the tech kind. We were distracted by birds and squirrels, the men pouring new street pavement, the rain that splashed on our many windows, and brother and sisters both in happy and unhappy states. As moms it is common to feel a little overwhelmed, tired, frustrating with our present circumstances, needing a quick break. That's where the danger of the "I's" come in. My friend, Sara Timothy, ask us to think about this questions, "What Does the Lord Require?".
Sarah Timothy is the co-founder of Red Brick Academy in Leslie, AR.
