The January Blues

For many years, January would find me searching all the private schools around and tallying the cost of sending one or all of my precious children to school. I was tired, uninspired, feeling like a failure. My children were suffering the consequences of my roller coaster emotions. I wish someone had known what I was going through and encouraged me to take a step back, breathe, and refresh myself and our homeschool. The article below from Charlotte Mason Poetry is one I would have latched onto and been encouraged by. Even if you are pursuing another method of education, this article will be of great encouragement.
