Can I Do This?

This question is asked so often, in so many areas, by so many people. But I think it may most often be asked by mothers, specifically mothers who homeschool. "Can I really teach my children better than an institution?" "Can I get everything finished each day?" "Can I...?" You fill in the blank. And the answer to that is no. You can't. AND Yes! You CAN! It's all in our perspective and who is running our "show". The article below is very timely for this time of year. We tend to think our children have not grown in their education (they have) or that we aren't enough for what they need (you are). But if these are our thoughts, then our focus is on the wrong thing. I used to be here every January. My SAD got the best of me and I looked inward at what "I" was supposed to be doing" and what my children were "supposed to be doing" and who the lead was. I was asking myself the wrong questions. The question should not be "Can I do this?" but am I letting the Holy Spirit do this.
