Who is Hilltop?
Hilltop Academy is a drop off class day that meets one day a week for three 10 week terms. We hope to ease the hands and hearts of home schooling parents by providing a full day of classes to students in grades 1-12.
How We Came To Be
Hilltop Academy began as a vision of two friends. While talking at a used curriculum sale, Rebekah Steele and a friend found they both had the same thought, to build a place where home school students could learn together in community while home school parents could have a day off from teaching, resting in the knowledge that their students were getting a full day of rich educational instruction. Hilltop's purpose is to provide a space for students of all ages to experience the richness that comes through great literature, learn in community with other home schoolers and build on living ideas with each passing day. Through the unique teaching approach of Charlotte Mason and a passionate staff, we help students develop academically and personally according to their bent.
